Mating Body Parts

Does anyone out there know if you can put an 87-89 front nose clip on an 84 AE? If you can; how easy/difficult is it? If you can't; how come, what's in the way? Just curious.
Thanks, Jason

at the very least, you will need hood, bumper, fenders, headlights from the newer car. might i ask why you would do this to a rare AE? or is it just a plain old '84 that somebody put AE badges on?

You're almost right. It's a turbo GL with the AE molding and side skirts, but I've always thought the 87-89 nose was just a little bit nicer. I figured if I could combine what I thought were the best of both, I'd do it. But regardless, thanks for the info, I've been curious about that for a while.

you DO NOT need the fenders. Actually, you really don't want the fenders unless you like having the front and rear fenders not match.
