Tried searching the forum for help but couldn't find an answer to this precise question.

I did something when hauling something on the roof rack and it snapped off my antenna mast.

The base is intact and when I look into it, I see a asterisk-shaped piece with what appears to be the snapped off metal core of the mast in it.

I bought a replacement antenna mast on ebay but I can't figure out how to put it on.

Can anyone help!

Don't Quote Me, I Think You Have To Take The Whole Unit Out And Take It Apart. The Mast Should Have A Plastic Track Inside. You'll Have To Attach That To The Motor Itself. It's Been Alot Of Years Since I Fixed One.
My 280zx's Didn't Work So I Got A Universal Electric Antena And Replaced It.
