adding AE body kit to an 84T GL
I've got an 84T that I would like to beef up the appearance to. I don't want to add any crazy wide body kits or aftermarket ground effects kits, I simply want to - if possible - add the flares and skirts from an 84T AE. I know I've got to switch the front fenders and acquire the rear fibreglass pieces, but other than that is it possible and what else do I need to do to make it happen? Any info or direction to where I may find the info would be great.
Thanks, Jay

Once you have the rear flares and side skirts, you line them up with the body. If you can take the mounting studs out, it will make aligning it a whole lot easier. If not, don't worry too much about it. Once you have the flares aligned, trim the excess out of the rear fenders with a sawzall. Don't forget to clean up the area and prime and paint it, or it will start rusting and totally eat away at the fenders very quickly.
Then, drill the holes for the studs and mount the flares. Then drill the holes for the side skirts and mount them.
If you need more details than this or a site with step by step instructions and pictures, don't bother doing it.
