yay

so visiting my parents decided to put some parts on that old dusty engine that been covered for a year now...so i put on the timing kit, turbo, currently making a mount for the wastegate, im gonna fab up a drain hole in the pan for the turbo return, I actualy wanted to see if i could get the engine back in the bay but i might run out of time. I noticed im missing the oil thrower up front, i dont remember taking it off so im pretty sure it never had one since i bought it...So if any of you have a spare one lemme know please. Well thats all, im still looking for a house n garage to get this heap closer to me so i can work on it over winter...i truly gotta say i missed working on it...and before i even touched the engine, i open my tool box and slam my nail in one of the drawers and pinched a piece of skin off with the pliers...ahhh let the good times begin.

well man not only is the distance where it is a huge issue (i have lots of time its just the cars not close to me) but also any freaking part that i need i have to order, its actualy starting to **** me off. So once i start wrenching i find out i need something, well now i gotta wait 2-3 weeks for the lil part to get here...by the time it gets here i slack off and get lazy.

i think that thing is just used like a regular washer isnt it? on a car with a timing belt its just there to help keep it on the gear. its been too long since i did one of those. i dont even know if i got a spare

pretty close...the fronts all done, tomorrow im gonna bolt up the oil pan...i wanna buy a new oilpump and flywheel/clutch set and then she will be pretty much good to go! to put inside the car but untill running time...who knows lol...at least ill free some space in the garage. one thing i noticed is i think i got the wrong timing mark plate...first it doesnt bolt into the 2 holes its suppose to be in and when i put the engine at TDC it doesnt line up with the notch ill take a pic tomorry...right now ITS WOW TIME YAY!
