y does it idle high until i slow down

also.. on my Z when ever im cruizing or coming to a stop.. if i do a nutral roll or just take it out of gear, my engine always idls at 2k rpm until i get to about 7 mph then it drops to 1k..im wonderin if it should do this or not

It should definitely not do that. Sounds like your cold start valve may be bad.
