WTF Bleach?

Someone has the exact same car as you and they are trying to sell it!

http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/1891661405.html

Seriously though why are you selling?

well, as long as you sell it someone who will NOT destroy it. IF they look shady, or maybe young, then pass. Make sure itll get the treatment it deserves. Or don't sell it. Either way haha

its still a SWEET car.

Funny, I sent him a message the other day because I saw a similar zx on Seattle.craigslist. Just had a stock nose and different rims. Thought that one was his and he was keeping the good parts, now this. He DID say his wasn't for sale...YET... Hmm... Maybe I'll have to take a trip to Des Moines. I gotta head out to Kent this weekend anyways...

^ Are you really selling your ZX? You have put some much time and work into it. I know it would be hard for me, to sell a car. I grow an attachment in a short time with cars. Good luck with whatever you decide man.

Bleach, I would buy it from you and store it in my garage on the off chance you wanted it back but for 2 problems. 1) I don't have the cash atm. 2) My roomate's CRX project has taken over the garage.

Sell the CRX project and you'll solve two problems at once!

Yes I'm really selling it. After a lot of consideration I decided to sell both my 280ZX and my truck. I'm going to replace them with one small economy car. All my car hobby money and time will then be focused on the Fairlady Z and I'll only have two cars to haul around instead of 3 total. I'm not even settled down into a house yet. All this moving around is tough with 3 vehicles and spreading my time between 2 projects is getting me nowhere. I also want something that I can haul kayaks with. I did consider keeping the 280ZX only but putting a trailer hitch on it or a roof rack. That would turn my Z into a sport utility. ...even if I did that, I'm limited to a 2-seater. My truck doesn't do that well on gas considering it is only a 2wd 4-cyl. I would expect more than 18/25 for a setup like that.

Reducing / consolidating your cars will feel good. I just got rid of my donor 280zx and sold the 280zt... down to 5 cars now. ahhh!

"down to 5" hahaha nice... though I cant say anything... Ive got a 67 stang strewn around the shop, a donor Granada, the Z, my Grand Prix DD, and a POS 62 Ford PU that we use to putter around the field and feed horses with.

So i think thats 5 too

Dad keeps gripin about it, but thats jsut too bad!

I would, but unfortunately it's 100% his. He has the motor he's planning on swapping into it ready to go and everything. I don't think it'd net 4.5k though.

Well I can totally relate. Sometimes having too many vehicles can be a burden....especially now that you're a home owner and will have a bunch of other responsibilities/projects. I recently sold my 350Z...it was hard to do, but I was neglecting it and only putting 2K miles on it a year. It will be this kid who bought it's pride and joy. Sometimes downsizing and simplifying is good.

I still say you can store it over here if you'd like. It'll get driven once a month to Kent and back. Lmao.

Plus 1, I would offer to store it. If Bleach wasn't so far away from me. I have plenty of yard space. Oh well, good luck to him. And hopefully he changes his mind, and keeps it.

Maybe you can find a buyer. I hear the turbo Z's are hard to get in Canada. I would put it back to stock if you can find a buyer for the car...

Those Canadians will flag my ad if I place it in "their" craigslist.

Yes, it is the 2nd 280ZX I've sold in 3 years but I still have the Fairlady Z going on 9 years of ownership. Part of this change is to assure the Fairlady gets time and funding to completion.

What's the plan w/ the Fairlady? Resto? Modified?

I think it needs an RB26DET and ZG flares.

I'm sticking with the old plan, as close to stock as possible.
I'm throwing on some aftermarket wheels but thats about it. I can also throw on some stock wheels for a show if the class i'm entering it in requires that.

i can put up an ad on cl for you if needed, it could catch more than that up here, nobody would flag your ad tho, its a nice enough car, plus we canadians just arent like that. there are lots of american ads for datsuns and other newer car even. put up pix without the g-nose for cl. lol. id list for $6250

I had put up an ad for my 350Z on the Canadian craigs and it got flagged right away; that's why I say that.
