Vital part no longer manufactured?

I started this thread at the suggestion of my local parts salesman(previous owner of a zx) who tells me that there is a part that is no longer sold or manufactured for the zx that is a required part to run. I wanted to know what this is so whenever I go to the pick n pull I can look for this part and hopefully keep the zx alive. Do you guys know what he's talking about?

Uh As far as I know there isnt a discontinued part for the ZX sept for some dumb little things. I "think" tho he might be talking about the fuse-able links. which can be replaced with normal maxi fuses.

Indeed... The only part I can think of that is really hard (almost impossible) to come by is the P90A hydraulic lifters for the 83 turbo head.

killaimdie, without the part name (or at least a description), it's pretty hard to give you any info either way.

no matter what it is, you can still get the part at the junk yard, it may not be new, but it will solve your problem. i mean the ecu isnt re-made, but can be found. i think you can even get an afm new still if you look hard enough.
