Vented gas cap

If I wanted to remove my coil canister, could I put a vented gas cap on instead of the coil canister?

There is no smog where I live. I removed the coal canister and pluged vac lines, and the line that goes back to vent the gas tank has a filter breather. But if I want to remove that line and the filter could I just use a vented gas cap?

Coil? Coal? Gas cap?

I'm not sure if you are confused, or if I am...

I moved my gas fill to behind the licence plate. I also installed a motorized flip down to fill up and hide the plate. Thanks for the help.

I would, if it would let me. Or someone would tell me how. I know how to post pics on forms and the avatar but it wouldn't let me put any in my album. Any help?

its actually kinda complicated lol, you have to sign up for an image hosting site, upload ur image to there site, and link the image into the forum from the link that the image hoster provides. I use photobucket as my image hosting site.
