Valve Springs, replace, or not?

Valve Springs, replace, or not?
I have two sets of valve springs from two L28ETs
Should I replace the springs?
What about the retainers?
Lash pads?
Rocker Arm Springs?
The only thing that really happened was the car overheated and the gasket blew, but both cars were 200,000+ miles, would just like to know if I should get all new stuff since I'm going to be zeroing out everything.

Well depends. . . . . If your doing a head job. . . . . Id use the rockers from the non heated engine and always match lash pads and retainers. . . . . I would treat everything in the over heated engine head as scrap. . .. . . . Would youu ware dead mans clothes? Lol my dad always says anyway that would save some cash. . . . But at the point your at id spend the money rebuild the head so everything is zeroed and will ware in together should save you in the long run. . . I do know when our old camero's 350 blew a head gasket and over heated we went super cheap and just cleaned up the head and replaced the gasket well we had majior engine probs valve springs broke valves and lifters got stuck. . . . . 4 trips we took it in for a spring here rocker there ended up selling the body. . . . . But yes that's a 350 and not a straight 6 from japan. . . But I learned best to just do it once then a few times sitting along the road

There was someone in Oregon that use to refinish lash pads IIRC. I'll ask my buddy tonight (if I remember.... ack!) where he had his done. Turns out the Nissan lash pads are one of the best ones you can get so using a resurfaced one is a good idea.
Wear I would be worried about but heat... you need to put a fair amount in to remove the tempering...

Well yeah. . . . I did drive the camero about 4 miles with the needle in the red zone lol. . . . POS!! Anyway both engines have 200 k + you just went through all the bullshit pulling the head why the hell would you put used parts back in? Takeing a hell of a risk for the $$$ anytime you get that far in go big or go home. . . Otherwise your back in the same spot. . . . . Beautyful spring days and a broken down z "which blows"
