If you'r running headers double gasket that intake and exhust or she's gonna' end up leaking and your' gonna do it again! I hate doing a job twice, better to get it right the first time and save your self the head ache. Nes Pa

One of the guys I used to work with warned me about putting single gaskets on. So I doubled it up, 7k later she still runnin' smooth w/no leaks. I'd recomend it to anybody.

I drove over 60K miles on a single header gasket from MSA. No leaks.
They list a different type of gasket to use if you have headers though. Don't just buy a normal Felpro intake/exhaust gasket for a 280ZX.

I have one from MSA and a OEM along w/copper gasket, works fine. I wasnt saying it will blow out if Bleach has 60k on his thats testament alone but thats just what I did. That way you dont even have the thought nipin' at your heels. To each his own. Any body goin' to the Z nationals in Cali next April? The old lady and I were talkn' about taking a road trip, as long as gas isnt $4. a gallon

I'm planning to go. Gas was almost $4 a gallon last year in Cali. It was about 50 cents less per gal up in the northwest.

Stay out of the desert. They jack the price up even more out east in southern California. It was over $4 a gallon last May

I think were gonna get the shaft anyways, midas well go the most direct route. As we get closer anybody goin should get in touch that way we can all hook up and have some beers put names to faces, etc.. just a thought.

a leaky header is usually the fault of the headers flange...not the fault of the gasket. Too thin a flange can warp/distort...also if the flange is not perfectly flat all the way across it will most likely leak.

Were goin to WCNs baby! Tell MSA to get ready. Oh and the double gasket acts as a filler to rectify any distortion/thickness issues that the header flange may have. That way it no leaky.
