Tokyo Drift........

I feel honored to be the first one to start a Fast and the Furious (or as my friends and I like to call, The Gay and The Curious) Well actually it wasnt half bad. I cant really complain cause atleast its about cars. The biggest problem though, was after the movie.. Every ricer left trying to "DRIFT." Which they did if you can consider drifting just pulling the ebrake in your mom's minivan. And there was some nice cars in the movie too, like this green VW van.

I dont want to ruin the story for anyone.. but you should really go see it, I think it was it was worth the money. Any one else see it??

I plan to see it as soon as I get back to VA. For what it would cost just ME to see it here where I'm living now I can take my wife, my son and myself to see it, and still probably save some change Whether it's good or bad, I've got to find out for myself. I'm sure plenty of people are going to rip on it cause it's a F&F movie, so I'd rather make the decision on my own. It's nice to hear the first review not being a negative one though...makes me feel better about forking the money over.

Hey I think it is different than the other 2. But I have to keep the tradition, and see it in the theater. I saw the other 2, got to see the 3rd one. Although it has absolutely nothing to do with the first 2 movies. And it actually looks pretty cool, and different. I will see it here soon, can't wait.

Honestly, I enjoyed this movie alot more than I thought I would. The driving scenes in it were pretty entertaining. I also thought the end was pretty cool.

What I thought was the most amazing about the movie was the stunts. Rhys Millen did most of the stunts. Throughout the entire video no a single driver caused any damage to any cars unintentionally. Also theres a scene were the APS 350z drifts up a spiral ramp while being about an inch from the wall on both sides. RHys did this stunt first try with out touching the wall.. pretty impressive. SO the driving in this movie is way better

yes.. I actually just saw it. great movie, I just wish I had a track to go try this stuff on, specially now that I got my LSD. No way am I going to kill myself on the streets. It goes into great detail and shows you exactly what to do... I recomend it to anyone. And speaking of the drift bible.. did anyone notice the real Drift KIng in Tokyo Drift?

Did you see that drift park? I wish I had one of those.

I am taking somebody next weekend to see it. I am looking forward to it. Will let you all know what I think. I think it is way cool, I met somebody that is into cars like me. Of course nothing serious going on yet. I just took her out to Karoke last night. And we had a good time, I guess it is going all right so far. Allright I have said too much, got to stop now. Anyway next weekend, I am checking it out.

Well I saw the movie this morning. It did not make me want to go out and try to drift...but I do want to go to Japan for the HOT CHICKS!!!! As far as story lines go I think it was so so, it could have been better but it was not bad. The stunts in this movie are very good, you know it takes some real skills to drive like that. I will buy this movie when it comes to DVD, I would like to see it with better color and sound than in the theater. I do like the fact that there was more actual driving of cars in this flick and less cheesey effects. I like the part in the begining, after the first race, that made me laugh...you know what I am talking about for those of you who have seen it...the "smile" LOL. It won't kill anyone to see this movie.

aka... "Asian Persuasion." Nothing against Asian chicks.... but you'd rather have an Asian over an American?

So there weren't any goofy *** computer generated "faker than fake" looking racing scenes like 2F2F ?

Well as far as the chicks go...American chicks tend to be stuck up which makes them a little less attractive to me...but when it comes down to it I like all types of chicks from all backgrounds and races.

The effects, there were some but nothing that made it seem like a cartoon like some movies "2F2F"...really it was not a bad flick.

there was only one part that I think they really used CG on. Everything else seemed to be pretty good.

Allright, I took out that girl last night, and saw the movie. Friggin' sweet guys, verry well put together. And to me, it is the best of the 3 in my opinion. Lots more action, and some sweet stunts performed. Kept us both on the edge of our seats! Well worth seeing, and I can't wait to get it on DVD when it comes out.

And oh by the way, I have a girlfriend now. It is pretty cool, and has been a long time for me. I started taking her out, last weekend. And then last night, things started happening. I am pretty happy right now, and have a better feeling of self worth. And it is going along great, wow I thought I was dreaming! And it has been 6 years, and almost 2 months since I have had anybody. So it is pretty cool, and thanks ASA240z for the kind thoughts, and wishes.

That's awesome WildmaN! Great to hear.

Just don't get so busy with your new girl that you neglect that Z Car now...

Rod.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate that. And don't worry Rod, my Z will still be worked on. I have put too much time and work into him, to stop now. I will finish him up, or have him ready for MSA '07. Like I was saying before, she also works on cars also. That is a big thing, that I like about her. I have never really been into the prissy, or girly girls. I have always liked the tomboys, laidback, sense of humor. Easy going, low maintenance, well sometimes that was the case. Anyway I am sure you all get my drift.

Haha, nice pun. ^_~

For the various car message boards that I frequent each day, it looks like the general concensus is that virtually everyone was "disappointed", because they were so ready to hate it, and yet it turned out they liked it.
