tips about buying a blow off valve 280zx

any of you guys can help me find a good blow off valve will greddy universal type s fit

Any blowoff will work, just find one that lets off the sound you like. Prices vary, but the place I've seen with good prices are either summit racing, or morepowerracing.com. Just be sure to buy the universal flange to put onto your j-pipe or or i/c pipe. And yes a Greddy Type S will work.
