Polyurethane is a type of plastic.
Prothane is a company name.
If you read the fine print on the Prothane advertisement, you will see that they use polyurethane.
In polyurethane bushing kits, they come in two colors, black or red. The black uses graphite as a lubricant, the red has no built-in lubricant. We used the black on our 240z, probably the Prothane brand.
When I was researching polyurethane bushings, it became my understanding that there are only two (2) manufacturers of this type of product. No matter who sells it, or who's name is on it, it was made by one of two companies. Get the best price you can.
