should i go for it?

a recent addition to the locl scrap yard is a near perfect 82 280zx turbo 2+2 auto less then 100k miles, now i can get it for less then $700, but the question is. should i? i meen i currently have nothing but the bike for transportaion and i live in a smogless county so no smog for me, ill go talk to the yard operator tomorrow or tuesday and get a price, but it is gonna be cheap.

I'd go for it. I mean, yeah, its 2+2 so its a little heavier than the coupe, and its turbo, so gas mileage might take a hit. especially if you're like me and can't keep your foot out of it.

A scrapper 280zxt for $700? That's steep... I've bought 3 280zx turbos for no more than $400 each... one was clean as hell, all three had good titles.

you have no idea how clean it is, like the motor looks like it just rolled 0ff the assembly line and everything has that light gold colour to it.

I can't wait to hear what he's asking for it.

My vote also goes into getting it and doing a turbo swap into an s30. Then part the rest of it out to recoup the cost of everything.

Any rust at all?

ewww...Digital Dash. That thing sucked on sunny days. That sun would hit it and you could barely read it, that and the digital tach is horrible.
