seems to die on top end

I think I may have an AFM problem with my Turbo since it seems to really die off at the top end especially in the longer gears like 3rd and 4th. I ran through the quarter mile in 15.4 at a measly 87.4 mph. When I got the car nearly 8 months ago it ran 14.8 with no exhaust manifold gasket and 10 psi @ 95 mph. Also the car now has a 3.7 lsd, rising rate regulator, a semi new top end and a little match porting. The car launches really hard and just seems to give up later on. What do you think about his time/mph.
I am having the same problem. I took it to the track and it felt like I hit a rev limiter in third when I got close to 5000 rpm. I ran a 15.1 @ only 85 mph boosting 10psi. Never got out of third gear. I guessing it's fuel related. My fuel pump may not be supplying enough fuel at that load. I'm gonna try hard wiring the fuel pump with 10ga wire and a relay to see if it helps any. Haven't checked my base fuel pressure yet either.
I running stock 83 l28et, stock efi with a mkIII supra ic in a '71 240.

Hmm to my knowlege heavier wire wont make it better sorry dude.
I would seriously think about upgrading to a much stronger fuel pump
But 3rd gear down the 1/4 is alright i ran a SLOW 18.7 in my 626 and only touched 3rd gear was starting too pull awesome then i hit the line
ah well :P

You might wanna check your AFM out, it's happened to me before. That and the plug wires were fried. I couldn't get past 5400 revs without the car sucking wind. Stock my car ran 15.3 at 89 so yeah I'd think if it's not the AFM, then check the injectors to see if they're flowing enough and not dying out.
