ok so my reverse lights never worked since i bought the car but i didnt see it as a problem just so happens that some individuals think otherwise(damn cops)

he told me to fix them anyway i was checking out the bulbs switched them into other sockets they worked so then i was checking out my harness and i noticed that the blinker and reverse lights were soldered together then all four bulbs tail/brake/blinker/reverse went to one terminal which i assume is ground any ideas why they dont work help is GREATLY appreciated

 

well ground is ground, they all go to the same place eventually.

my guess is the reverse switch is broked
