Do you have the fan shroud on also? Without that can cause overheating problems.

I speed to much apparently. I broke my speedometer again. Is there a good electric aftermarket one I can install?

**** I power washed the underside of my Z and I got water in the TPS again. I dried it off and not even 50 feet later it started screwing up again. so I pulled over and slammed on my brakes. Right when I did that my Z instantly fishtailed and smashed right into the curb with the back right tire with enough force to bounce it off the curb. **** This is just not my day

ohh man that sucks! If you cracked your rim or anything, if theres some way I oculd meet you within 100 miles of Tulsa somewhere I'd give you one of my stock wheels for super cheap. They're going to a scrap yard eventually.

Man that really sucks

Damn your about 1000 miles away from me Else I would buy them from you in a heartbeat. If theres no tires on them you could ship them.

I dont think I cracked one, but it ate up the lip of the rim a good bit...

They would need dismounting, then, but I'd be happy to see how much they would cost to ship. It would have to wait til the end of the week, mainly so I can pick up some lug-nuts to get my old school Fenton slot mags mounted. The ones they have are threaded differently, a little bit bigger, and my back left wheel literally fell off as I turned into my driveway, after about a 14-mile round trip test run a while back...

And the Datsun ones are too big to fit in the holes for the lugnuts, so I get to get some "Tuner" style ones from Autozone that are threaded proper lol

I'll be back in Tahlequah Sunday, though, so I'll get one de-tired and see how much one and all four wold ship for.

Okay! Thank you! Um Actually what kind are they? ironcross? 6 spoke? Just mostly out of curiosity as I might not need them all. Then again having a second semi-full set (besides the one wheel i ruined) would be nice.

Bottom kind, but i think they kinda have a tan or gold tint to them. Could just be dusty, or i could just be mistaken altogether and they look just like those do. I don't remember anything glaringly wrong with them, but I'll inspect them closer and take pics on Sunday.

Well if it doesn't, this is a good excuse to save up and buy a new set of wheels! And sense I'm freaking out a little I dug out my 83 entire rear subframe and I'm gonna sand blast it, pant it, install new bushings and make sure the brake system on it is fine then swap it in.

Much better rear brakes! their more the like front brakes then the tiny little square. other then that I don't think so lol

And you just undo your drive shaft, brake lines and cables, then you unto the struts and the 3 bolts holding the entire thing it and it just drops out. Then swap the diffs out if you need to.

That sounds awesome!

I do believe that I'm gonna find me a Donor '83 to rob the rear end out of, before I replace my shocks and struts back there

the brake rotors are actually smaller on the later ones... and the size in brake pads isn't exactly great. the "upgrade" is minimal at best.

The major thing about changing to the later calipers and rotors. Is the parts. Especially the rear calipers. ('82-'83) Which are easier to get at parts stores. I have read on here, that the ('79-'81) rear calipers. Can be a pain to get a hold of. Or to find rebuild kits for.

Oh wow.... I didn't even know the iron cross wheels have an iron core... I'm not sure if I can get them to shine like my old wheels did, well maybe the 4th one but the rest would need sandblasted and painted. Hmm still see what shipping would be tho

And Now onto something else entirely, Does anyone know if the USDM Door mounted mirrors and the JDM fender mounted mirrors are the same? I want to get rid of the door mounted mirrors in favor of the fender mounted ones. And if heir the same I'll just remount them lol

Finally, WHY CAN NO ONE SEEM TO BE ABLE TO SEE MY Z! Holy crap about 6 times now, I've had someone pull into my lane while I was right ****ing next to them! The last time nearly took my mirror off!
