So I have this vent in the headliner of my ZX near the trunk lid and im sure you all do too, anybody know what that vent is in there for? If its for air to blow into the back seats im gonna be sad because I have a sunroof that would probably block the airflow

 

Are you talking about the headliner roof trim? (long plastic piece?) If so, I think the vents are mainly for looks. I don't think they really serve any other purpose.

Iam fairly sure it vents to the center-pillars, vents cab pressure, I remember yrs ago like 1984 my 79 was running with the heater on high, & was standing outside
talking, and put my hand on the center-pillar and felt hot air blowing out.
I may be wrong but, try it next time you have your heater on....

 

Nah, you can just go to a junkyard and get one, they usually have one or two Z's at least where I live

 

I wish dude. Not here. The local junkyards are getting rid of everything that's older than 10 years, which is freaking rediculous, because that's what everyone around here drives are old cars.
