Talking Pics of my soon to be 1983 280zx

Here is a couple of appetizer pics of the '83 280zx I am getting verry soon. Probably either this weekend, or the next. Feel free to comment, and enjoy. I know I am stoked on getting this Z.

Nah, but pretty good price nonetheless. I am still looking for you brother. Just try to get ahold of that one person, I told you about. And more pics will follow, after I get this Z home. I will promise you on that one.

No not yet, besides not really much to see. Just dirty, and original equipment underneath. And like I said, these are just appetizer pics. Once I get my hands on this Z, I will surely take some better pics of it. After I clean it up and such.

Ha Ha yeah, that was his fuel tank. LOL He used that gas can for holding the fuel, while he tried to get it running. But yeah as far as I know, the tank will have to be repaired or replaced.

LOL yeah, if down the road I decide to keep it. I will swap out the digital and put the analog into it. I have quite a few gauge clusters hanging around. (And yes they are all going to be used)

Your insight serves you well, it is still his. But soon to be mine hehe. That is one of the main reasons why, I didn't tell you guys to much about it. Ironic isn't it, that I would aquire a Z, that somebody posted on here earlier? It's all good though, I am going to get it back onto the road, and put my '82 down. And finish him up.

Well update for all of you. The '83 is at my place now, I am so stoked on getting it ready to run. Might take me a couple of weeks, but I am determined to get it going. Feel free to post your comments and thoughts. And pics will follow soon, too dark right now.

Thanks J, yeah the body is in great shape, one little ding on the driver's fender. And don't worry this Z is in good hands. I will be working on it within the next few days, before work. I am stoked on getting another Z.

It is actually a charcoal gray, or something like that. With black and silver interior.

I recently won a 1983 280zx FSM on e-bay last week. Here is the link for you. I am actually afraid to use the manual, it is in near mint condition.

Well I am eager to work on this Z. But I caught a cold Monday morning. And really feel like crap right now. Hopefully by this weekend, I will start getting it on jackstands. And take the fuel tank out, first thing. Will keep all of you updated.

Well it was the cheapest FSM I ever got. I was pretty happy about it, and the fact the 1983 is sometimes a little harder to come by. I already got the manual, and I was quite happy on the near mint condition of it. I think I got a smoking deal on the manual. Considering the last few I watched went for $70 or more, and they were in worse shape.
