Pics of the cage in my "new" 240Z

The passenger compartment is completed.


You can't really tell from the dust, but that's an original NOS uncracked dash!


The cage will be extended from the inside into the engine bay to the strut towers and forward to the radiator support where new cross bracing will be added.




The rear cross braces will be extended from the shock towers back to the rear light panel and tied into the unibody there.



That's Luke, the previous owner checkin' out the handiwork...

damn chachi.... cant wait to see the beast that goes under teh bonnet. bet luke is jealous... pretty awsome you invite him along to see where his old Z is going.... lww, you got to much $$$ to invest... lol

If that were only true... But I do like my Z's... Think of it this way, I now have 3 concurrent projects and not a single one of them has a motor or transmission... I have to envy all you guys and your cars that move under their own power!

Actually, we still have to put the harness bar in. We used an EVO 8 Recaro to do the fitting and figure out where the harness bar should be welded.

sickkk... i was gonna go RB too.. but i think right now imma do an SR... because RB doesnt pushes out that much stock.. but unlike Lww... i dont have that much money to invested in it... i bet your RB is gonna be a beast!!!!!!! cant wait to see it.. maybe it will change my mind.. if i can save that much.. hahha

L DUB DUB, we both be daily driving the FWD cars! woot. but at least mine is Nissan.
