No Voltage at my fuel pump
My old fuel pump was bad... Checked it out and was no good.. Got another pump, but I have no voltage to the pump?
Any ideas? Is there one or two fuel pump relays? If so, where are they located at? Also is there a fuse somewhere I can not find?
Thanks

the fuel pump relay is under the hood, on the passenger side fender behind a flat metal plate. I thought my fuel pump was bad until i pulled the wire up into the trunk and hooked up my working parts car pump. it did not work either. i then pulled the ignition from the parts car, since it acted like someone shut off my ignition switch, but it didnt make the pump whine either. i called my mechanic that i bought the car from and he told me about this relay. if your old pump is still around and the relay is the problem, you may want to test the old pump to make sure it was really bad to begin with. good luck!

The manual says there that it is Fuel Pump Relay #2 that is under the hood...
I do remember a relay clicking behind the glove box (I had the glovebox out) that is related to the fuel pump. This is on my 1982. 82-83 are probably the same. Earlier years may vary.
In that Chilto's picture, one of the relays in the little black box is long. All 82-83 don't have the larger relays like that.
