Hello. I just got a n-42 non egr intake manifold on ebay and had a quick question. Im going to put it on my 82 turbo motor. Okay the metal tube that goes from the egr valve to the downpipe will have to be plugged on the downpipe. So has anyone done this and what did you use to block off the tube. Thanks.

 

i cut the pipe short and bent it over and then i put a dime in it and put the cap back on. i also bent the peace that comes off my header over and put a dime in there havent got it back together yet still waiting on gaskets and my new head hopfuly the frist

 

I cross-threaded a huge bolt up into the bottom of the EGR unit on my intake. Then I put headers on that did not have that pipe... uhhh

I don't think that has anything to do with your question though. Just shove some spare change in there. That'll fix it!
