Finally after months, I got around to taking some more recent pics of my '82 280zx. Including the primer job, with my cool tinted headlight covers. Also my Pioneer deck, that I installed back in the fall of '07. And the GT wheel back on my car. Anyway enjoy the pics, and feel free to comment.
These are of the outside of my Z.

A medium to dark blue, with a metallic silver. Just like an '81 1/2 Turbo clone. This will give you an idea.

Like both of these, except without the louvers. And the silver stripe will not go past the cowl panel. (windshield)

And I am cloning my Z, like this Diaclone Pre-Transformers toy. (bottom one in the box) "Bluestreak"

Thanks....Well sort of...I got the white overlays from Ebay over 2 years ago. Painted my needles blue and silver. Put Autobot symbols on the gauges. And changed all the bulb covers to blue. And the list goes on and on.... But that should give you an idea.

Well my Z looks a little different than before. Observe the hood.... The color it is, that is the color of my Z now. Yes you got it...He is now flat black. And I love it, he looks real stealthy. And it will do, until he gets stripped for restoration. Pics may happen here soon. Not sure at the moment. Will let you all know.

Thanks man, still not where I want it to be. But I will get there. You have a nice project also. And it will be rewarding. As you slowly fix it up. And you will learn a great deal. I promise you that.
