New s130 owner but mine is "different"

Hello all my name is thadd I'm 33 I like long walks in the woods, slow soft music, and candle..........oh wait sorry wrong forum lol.

I just picked up an 79 280zx from my old roommate the catch is this is a fairlady z. Yes it is rhd jdm! I am so excited to take on this project and it is truly a project. I currently have an 03 350znow that's tastefully modded I use for shows autocross and track days. I love nissans and as soon as the car was for sale I picked it up so I didn't to my research beforehand and hate that but had to have it. I live in Missouri and travel alot for work. I also attend Branson zfest every year and hope to take the fairlady and 350 this year.

Welcome to ZDriver! This is THE place for the S130 There aren't a lot of RHD S130's in North America. We have so many R31, R32, R33, Z32 RHD here in Canada but there are hardly any S130 even of the LHD variation and I've never seen a RHD up here even though there are a TON of RHD cars from '90 and up.

What are the plans for the S130?

the short term goal is to just get it running it has no motor yet and the interior was taking apart.

as for the long term goal? not 100% sure on the motor but im gonna redo the interior with my brides in it nice small sound system fender flares wide wheels at are flush not hella gay flush with stupid stretch or anything. it has a pantera hatch with a zxr spoiler on it not sure if i wanna keep that set up or not. the skyline taillights are starting to grow on me

Wow the car is looking awesome. Specially the color of the car and its wheels color is looking great. You have good sense of matching the wheels with the car. Thanks for sharing your drive man you just rocks.

We need some more pics of the car front and rear Oh and bigger than 50x50 pixels

You might find that you don't need to flare the car - I've got 17x9.5 -19mm offset with 255's on the rear (Yasin is running 275s!) without flares (rolled though).

It's a six pin socket but I think it only uses 5 pins IIRC.

You'll need huge flares - I put flares on one of my cars just messing around and they are almost the same size as stock!
