New MSA airdam

Well if this aint a kick to the nuts. . . . The very same year i let my Z go the arita speed gnose comes to the states and MSA releases a new piece as well. I got my holiday sale guide from MSA today only to see this. . .looks like a strechted and slightly different version of the S30 typelll. I would still sport it. Has this been out for a while?

Kinda looks like this one, but better?

The S30 version hangs too far forward.
The new one has been out for a couple months. I'm getting the Aritaspeed airdam. w00t for MSA making a new air dam that looks almost exactly like the old one.

I was actually thinking this new s130 one hangs further forward than its s30 counterpart. At least it looks like it in the pic.

only fault i see is that it dosent flow with the hood...

know why? im thinking because some dumb*** was saying that the airdams would look better w/o the flange thats on the stock bumpers on hybrid...

now look what the idiots has caused...

I have this front end and it doesn't fit exactly right. with my bumper compressed as far as it will go without the back extending into my tire, my turn signals aren't flush...they're about 1 inch recessed. The side skirts are weird also. They extend up and fold over into the door jam where you step and once there, the door won't close right unless you adjust the door, but then the body lines don't match up lol. the bumper fits perfect =) all said and done if you want it to look right, it's gonna cost a couple bucks unless you're good with that body stuff

I think I like it over the type I. At least it doesn't slope up as much so you may be able to run a splitter. I think you guys may be right, it could be too low in the front...

What are these flanges you're talking about 280ZX2by2? And why are you bashing guys on Hybridz (this isn't the first time)? Do you seriously think that MSA (or the manufacturer) listens to the "idiots" on z-chat rooms for coming up with their new designs? GAH!!

In case you don't know, MSA and Black Dragon are two totally different companies...

If you read the wind tunnel report from Hybrid ( nissan sport )you will see that this air dam closed the upper front greel for aerodynamics better flow. But I do know that these parts never fit right you have work on them to make them fit right. I would like to see more pictures. so far I like it.
