This looks like this is an awesome place to learn and share information. On that note, my name is John.
I just obtained a 1982 280zx 2.8l/5-spd. Its in really decent shape compared to the others i have seen around here. It needs some body damage repaired, a few rust spots. Other than that just tune up and maintenance issues.
It will be a driving project, but I am not sure what my future plans are for it yet.

Thank you. I have been browsing through the forums alot today. Learned how to turn off the sensor light. lol
Still need to find a good source for parts, mainly body panels. I think the best way to fix that quarter panel/tail light area is to just find a replacement panel (if one is available).

 

Guys here sell parts they have available so put up another post in the WTB forum. Also check out car-parts.com for recyclers in your area. You never know when the just right '82 will show up on their lot. If the lot is close to you drive there and check out the source.
