NEW HERE! Is it difficult to swap a l28e non turbo with a turbo??

ive been spending a crap load of money on my 83 Datsun 280ZX but the engine a (L28e automatic 3 speed)is always overheating when i take it for a drive so i found a turbo that runs but i was wonderin if its difficult to swap out my non turbo with the L28et standard? id appreciate the help?

The question of "hard" or "difficulty" depends on your level of mechanical skills. If you have done motor swaps before, then it shouldn't be hard. Virtually everything bolts right up. You'll have to do some modifications for exhaust & wiring, but that's about it.

We have LOTS of info about motor swaps on this site.

really, it's just the wiring that will give you issues if you are mechanically inclined. for the most part. i know with the S130's they have a lot more emission and VAC stuff to deal with, but still shouldn't be that hard if you mark everything you disconnect.
