MY Z is crushing itself!

Ok no not as bad as it sounds but kinda true.

I took my car to a body shop to see what they cna do about the body on it. $7K with a paint job @.@ And they noticed as well as I did that the drivers rear quarter panel wasnt replaced right it was replaced in the middle with brass solder instead of the spot welds drilled out at the door jam so the body on taht side is staring to crush inward a tiny tiny bit but enough to show up through the 20 pounds of bondo....

You can still get that panel for a 2+2...right? Id rather do it myself

Welcome to 280zx ownership.

Those quarter panels from BDA are for 2seater coupes only. You have to get 2+2 quarter panels from Nissan at a price of $700+ (that was what I paid 10 years ago anyway).

Now you're beginning to see why I'm into my car $17k. Two quarter panels, two rockers, hood, fender, spare tire well, inner wheel wells, t-top conversion, body kit, L28ET modified and rebuilt twice... it all adds up.

Well I would stop on my 2+2 if A. I find a 240Z or B. I get that turbo Z

If not I have a lot of work to do my 2+2 the entire front end, both doors, around nearly every window, well to much really @.@

for that much money you could buy a nice Z up in the northwest and have it trucked down to you.

or fix it, pull, bend, and fill! learn to do your own body work and paint and you'll save so much money
