Finally school is out and I had some time to work on the car! I got her running and she fired up like a champ on the first try. Minus the bad gas the engine ran great. I drove it around my neighborhood and the turbo had full boost (according to the stock gauge) and the oil pressure was good. I have a problem though, it looks like a mosquito smoker driving down the road. I checked the spark plugs and they did not have any oil on them and the radiator did not have air bubbles when the car was running. I bought the car with what I was told to be a rebuilt turbo. The turbo was leaking oil from the inlet going into the top of the turbo but, I do not think that it would cause it to smoke that bad, could it? I am just thinking it is a bad turbo and I am going to go rent a compression tester this Saturday just in case it is a blown head gasket.

Does this sound like a bad turbo to you guys?

Thanks for the help!

On my way to the car show at the Zcar nationals this year I towed a 240Z with my nonturbo 81 Z. His fuel pump took a dump on him and I offered to at least tow his car to a nearby parkinglot so it wasn't sittin in the road.
