My little helper

According to my son, it is his car and he lets me drive it and help him work on it and that is just fine by me. Whatever we do whether a tune up or putting in washer fluid he is sure it will make the car go faster. Everything I have done to the car so far, he has been by my side the entire time. When we cruise down the road he laughs and says, "Ha ha! You are to slow." as we pass cars. When I see a car about to pass us I distract him by telling him there is a bear or something on the opposite side of the road. So according to him there is no car in the world that could pass his car. He is even down with mowing the lawn. Talk about a good kid!

Nice picture mayhem052! I have been trying to take pictures of things I do with my boy so that he can have them latter to help him remember better all of the things we did together. I wish I had more pictures of all the time I spent with my dad; it seems like the older I get the harder it is to remember all of the details. For this Christmas I got him a bunch of real tools and a nice little tool box...hopefully I will start to lose less of my tools. But replacing a few lost tools is a cheap price to have my boy enjoy wrenching with me.

My dad helped me buy my first truck,(My daily driver for the last 11 years, it is now taking a break while I drive the 280zx…that I bought from my dad) when I was 8 and I wish I had more pictures of all the stages and projects we did together to get her going. I will see if I can find a link to an old post from 67-72chevytruck.com about my truck and post it up. Here is a pic fore now.

Dude, you have my dream truck! That is the most beautiful truck ever, bodywise. I still want one someday. Very nice truck, and 280zx. Oh, and cute kid man. That is awesome, you are doing those things with him. Props to you man.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It is fun to have two of my most favorite things go togeter so well (kids & cars).

Thanks for the compliment on my truck WildmaN. It has been a fun truck to drive for the past 11 years. It shows some wear and tear from being a daily driver for so long but that is what made it so fun. I hope my boys have as much fun driving it to high school as I did.

Heres a picture of the tow home I got the other night when my bullet bike craped out on me.

Had some fun with the boys putting on my catalytic converter test pipe tonight.

It is funny how much safer I work when I have my little guys with me as apposed to when I work alone. I had it up on ramps, the wheels chocked on both sides, the keys in my pocket, car in gear, and the ebrake maxed out.

My littlest one makes it an adventure every time I drive after he has "hung out" in the car, he leaves no **** unturned and I find odd things in the most random places inside the car.
