The Lady
Man where do i begin?
It has been quite some time since I took the time to write on the forums, iv'e come along way with The Lady. My daily driven 83 280ZX is my pride and joy. if any of you have seen Love the Beast, well this is my Beast.
Around the last time i posted on here i blew my motor, but since then i've put a little work into it. i was fortunate enough to fall in the hands of GS3 cars or GS Engineering, together with the mad scientist we have brought The Lady to life.
The motor has not been tampered with since the rebuild. Suspension has been replaced with a full coilover system. I had to switch to 16x8 from stock wheels because i refused to change stock wheel dimensions and finding size 14 performance tires was such a drag. Just yesterday we put in my custom fabricated rollcage, we still have to do the front but the rear is all done with 2inch piping all around, squared strut beam, the works. Im sitting on installing headers for now and just riding with a catback Megan Racing muffler.
originally I wanted to rally this thing.. I know I know.. I dont want to hear it.
lol. Now im building around my canyon addiction. I am not turbo (yet) so i dont make the power for a track. Put me on the twisties though and we have a different story, especially downhill
Anyway here are some pics updating my car, Im hoping to start editing my videos and fabricating more pieces for our Z's, if anyone is interested and lives in California check gs3cars.com this is the engineering going into our Z's and it prides me! We will be updating the website along with what we intend to do for the future.
I do have a a question though if someone could answer. Perch clearance for the adjuster on the coilovers, how can i let my front end go lower im already running adapters. Would the techno toy TCR's be of any help?
thanks for reading, here is the Z.
