preferred?

which is the preferred head? w/ or w/o the hyrdo lifters? what are the benifits of each?

the hydrolic heads are a lot more quiet then the non but the at very high RPMs they tend to float.. as far as the p90 goes you can still adjust them....

and they did not use the N42 block. Nissan specifically changed to a different casting in 1981. The started the F54 block for the turbo motor and to save on production costs they used that same block with the non-turbo. But yes, they put flat top pistons in the non-turbo for higher compression. The turbo dished pistons have larger rings in them.

Instead of saying they used the non-turbo block in the turbo cars I would say they made a block for the turbo but also used it for the non-turbo.
