Just Bought 2 Z's
Hey guys i just purchased a 1981 an 1982 280zx Both cars are 2+2 and both are swapped to 5speed. One has the engine pulled out of it and needs a rebuild. The other one runs well, and has lots of goodies, buttt the rust is horrible, floor pans are bad, quarters are going, the whole car in general sucks.
But the drive train is great.
Currently on the running car----
Has following performance parts.
garrett .60 trim turbo.
manual boost controller.
Haltek programmable E6k ECU.
MSD 6A ignition box.
MSD Blaster 2 coil pack
8.5MM spark plug wires.
HKS blow off valve.
huge intercooler.
TIAL 38mm wastegate with 12 pound spring.
440cc DSM injectors.
walbro 255LPH fuel pump.
AEM wide band A/F ratio gauge.
New clutch.
5" tachometer.
Newish tires. (all good tread)
Engine was gone through and rebuilt 8,000 miles ago.
So i'm looking to swap the better drive train into the other 1982 Z which still has a full interior and the rust is managable on it. Any advice on getting the engines swapped over?

I was browsing and I see this post. A guy who buys 2 z's at a time is my kinda guy. I have one and am contemplating a 2 car buy, make one good runner, and flip the car. This is one bad addiction Welcome and If I may ask what you paid? pm if you want to keep privacy.
