It's Finally Time...

Its finally time for me to start ordering everything for Megasquirt. I was trying to get my car ready for Nopi this August but I gave up on that. Im very young and have very little experience working on cars so Im going to have someone help me on this job.

I decided I want to order everything from DIY auto tune. Iv read all the write ups and info on the MS website, I just want to make sure Im ordering all the right things. I know I should proably asking over at HybridZ but I figured Id try here first, I know Skully has MS figured maybe he could help me?

So far this is what I know I need..
-Assembled PCB3.0 ( http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...unit-p-56.html )
-Wiring harness ( http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...eady-p-43.html )
-Relay board ( http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...unit-p-32.html )
-Stimulator ( http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...unit-p-33.html )
-CLT ( http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/c...tail-p-58.html )
-IAT ( http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/o...tail-p-62.html )
-not exactly needed but LC1 wideband ( http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/i...nsor-p-41.html )
-GM 4pin HEI

Im not sure if this everything needeed?? So if some of you guys who have experience with megasquirt could help me out I would greatly apreciate it. And dont worry like I said ill have proffesional help with the installation.

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Looks like you've got everything covered.

Let us know how the install and setup goes, MS should be fairly simple and user-friendly, especially in this application.

Man what I would do if my Dad sold my Z!! Sorry to hear about that

I just talked to DIY and they informed me that I dont need the relay even though most use it. He said that I could just just tie into the main ECU power to control power to the ECU, and use the stock fuel pump relay controlling it with the MS. He said it makes things a lot easier.

They have excellent customer service and advise anyone thinking about giong with MS to use them.

Just buy the already assembled Megasquirt kits with the premade wiring harness. Plug it in.

Yep, Nismo pretty well summed it up. I'm looking into a pre-'82 2-seater though. If that pans out, I'll be following your MS setup.
