Intro 1983 280zx

Hi all, I have been religiously using this site for years in order to learn more about my zed, and I figured I should introduce my self. I have been the proud owner of this car for 7 years, ever since my z31 was totalled. I grew up loving z cars, and would gladly take a zcar over any other. My zealous nature towards these cars has led to thee of my friends buying one or more. Most recently I installed z32 seats(basically bolt directly in Awesome). This week its finally time to do the clutch, and slap in some 79 tail lights. Here are some pics more to come soon. Thanks for your support, Greg

Yea, its an 83 gll. Changed out the plastic b pillar trim with the earlier stainless style. In the process of swapping in the earlier simpler tail lights. Today I went and shuffled through someone's collection of spare zx parts. Got a great rear strut bar for 30 bucks, it really does compliment the Prothane bushings, and Tokico struts and springs. I would definitely recommend one if you can find it on the cheap. Ill post more pics as soon as I get this weeks clutch job done. I love the s130s, despite popular opinion it is by far my favorite style zcar. Thanks for the interest, Greg

I agree with you man. I have always loved the S130's also. I would like to see pics of the Z32 seats put in. I might think about doing that install in the future. Very clean Z though, and keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing your progress. Good luck man.
