Turbo Intercoolers
The purpose of an intercooler is to reduce the tendency of a turbocharged engine to detonate by lowering the temperature of the intake charge. Despite popular misconceptions, an intercooler by itself does not increase horsepower. By reducing detonation, it allows you to run more boost. Increased boost is effected by a unit such as our Dial-A-Boost, or the Electronic Boost Control. The two modifications should be done together.
