Happy Campers

Hi all - My son and I have been working on an '83 ZX that we bought in December. We just had it painted and are so happy we had to share it with you all! We bought the car for $500 and have a total of $2600 invested which includes complete motor rebuild, new paint, new seats and interior!

Enjoy

Looks great! Do you have any pictures of the engine bay and interior?

Go take it somewhere and get some nice pictures!!! :-D (not that it doesn't look good in these pictures)

That's an awesome job. And you did it on a great budget. Well done.

Are you planning to put new wheels on it or are you keeping the stock ones? If you're keeping the stock one's and you need some center caps, let me know! I'll hook you up.

Cheers,
LWW

You did a great job! Car looks good. I battled going red with mine and kept it close to the original color. But that looks clean and kept it reasonably priced.
send out some engine bay and interior pics so we can see them. Love the rear louvers, wish i could find some cheap.

More pics

Thanks for the responses!

We did all of the body work, primed and wet sanded the car, then had a local paint shop shoot it with polyurethane Vper red paint for $500.

Here are a couple of pics of the engine bay. Interior pictures to follow.

Hey LWW:

We are planning on cleaning up and using the stock wheels. I am interested in your center caps - let me know how much you want for them.

Thanks!
