Well, looks like I'm back. Wildman turned me on to a '79 slicktop for $300. Pick it up in a couple of weeks. Interior needs work, and one ding on rear quarter panel, but engine looks good. New injectors and cleaner than my old car (RIP). Will post pics soon. Silver with some dark blue decaling on hoode hump and lower sides. Engine turns over smooth. Fuel pump no worky, but thats minor. I'm a happy camper !!

Well got some good news...and I got some bad news. Okay how about the bad news first.. The Z that Carl was going to buy. The dude sold it from under him. The good....Carl is moving in, as my new roommate. So I can get caught up, and he can get more on his feet. We will live like kings..lol

Umm kinda sorta...been so long since I have seen it. I am not for sure. It might have been a ZXR. And it might have not. I guess we will never know though will we?

I have been holding back. On posting this...but because of how I feel. I am letting it out.

Basically Carl to me...has screwed me over. He left over a week ago. And took everything of his with him behind my back. I have not heard from since. So as far as I am concerned we are not friends anymore. I met him on here of course..over 3 years ago. Thought he was a good friend and all. I try to help him out...in living here. Also to help me...then this is what he does to me. He met some girl...and was talking to her on the phone for a week or so. And then all of a sudden he left. And I haven't heard from him since. So I don't think he is coming back.

I am hurt and upset over this. Because I thought we were good friends. Guess not....that is why I am very picky on who my friends are. Just thought I would share with all of you. And vent some..feel free to comment if you want..

 

Does he owe you money? I'd be a bit upset too, but not to the point of saying "we're not friends anymore." I know very little about the situation, but it seems like Carl has had some hard times... he might have thought that leaving would cause less drama?

Dunno what to tell ya, but I'm sure we'll hear from him sometime.

 

Yes he does owe me money. I am just upset...and feel I couldn't trust him after this. And he wasn't causing me any drama. He pretty much kept to himself. And didn't smoke where it would come in the house. Anyway I am mainly really disappointed in the whole situation. And him taking off like this has hurt me. I am going to have to put some of my stuff up on ebay. And thinking about putting my '83 on Craigslist.

I agree that it was a very cheap thing of him to do and I hope it is not too much of a hardship on you. I personally feel that even if you are not getting along with someone you can at least say "I'm leaving in a few days and so you should make arrangements to find a new roommate if you need one" or something like that and not just bolt. Though if it is for some girl he's been talking on the phone with for a couple weeks, I don't really give that much of a chance and he may be out on his own again and feeling sorry he dissed his friend like that. The guy has no gonads if he has to pack up his stuff and bolt in the night without saying a word.

That's how I see it.

I am going to rant some...Well because of the ordeal with Carl. I have been struggling alot. I am so behind on my mortgage. That it will take probably till the end of the year to catch up. He really screwed me..leaving like that. I mean yes..I am working... But I will be living on practically nothing for quite a while.

So..I am behind on my mortgage. Two of my credit cards went to collections. And probably my remaining will go to collections also. I get called night and day from creditors. I can't sell either of my cars. And now I haven't seen my gf in over 2 weeks. And I am going crazy about that. I feel things are falling apart. And it will be quite a while..before...I get back above the ground.. Basically in a nutshell...my life right now is an utter complete and absolute mess..

 

WildmaN, stay stong dude! Everybody has struggles from time to time. Things will soon turn for the better!

I know telling you things will get better will only cheer you up for the moment. Don't let it drag you down focus your energy where it need most. Because people like that, I can say I'm friendless, but they come and go. Good luck with everything else.
