Click: http://www.efinnegan.com/Porsche/Mis...FMRebuild.html

Those are for the DME (BMW & Porsche efi systems), but it's by Bosch, so it's virtually the same setup.

The Bosch Fuel Injection books are quite informative too.

EDIT...

Funny how Datsun/Nissan went to the hotwire MAF in 1984, while Porsche still used the AFM into the late 80's...

MAF is very different... it measures the temp of air cooling a heated wire.
AFM is a flap door resistor.

You also need an ecu programmed for a MAF if you are converting. Thus the reason we have the Z31 ecu & maf swaps.

Oh I know. I'm kinda thinking of doing that swap (changing the entire harness tho) on my Z.

But I want to see if my idea is possible and feasible lol

Wiki doesn't tell me the info I really need... Guess I'll grab a Z31/32 maf when Im at the junkyard again lol

If you haven't seen this, it may help on your adventure... https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-280zxt-s30-s130-tech-tips-275/worlds-first-z31-na-ecu-swap-24434/

I finished my 280ZT maf & ecu upgrade last night... it's a monster.
