How much should near mint condition taillights go for?

How much do you guys think a pair of '82 taillights, in near-perfect condition (as in no chips, cracks, sun fade, etc.) should go for? This would include all wiring, bulbs, mounting, in intact condition and even the weatherseals are in pretty good shape. I'm trying to set a fair price if I put em up for sale on Ebay or Craigslist. Every now and then I see taillights fetch some pretty high prices on Ebay and then there are others that don't even sell and I'm not even clear on why some sell and others don't.

It all depends on market demand at the specific moment they get posted.

If no one is looking for tail lights when you post yours, they'll sell for... You guessed it! NADA!

If 15 people are looking for tail lights when you post yours, they'll sell for... You guessed it! I have no idea... ;(

BTW... if you look on ebay first, you can see how much other items are selling for... Looks like nothing near your $100 price I paid $10 for a new pair of 81 tail lights a year ago.

I've paid as much as $25 each and as little as $5 each.

And the $25 each set was absolutely beautiful, showroom quality new.

I paid less than $30 for 2 near mint '82 taillights. I am putting them on later, after I get the bodywork, and paint done.
