When my third Z was totalled, it took 14 months to find a good donor body in the price range i wanted to spend. I found a one-owener in NC with little rust, good body. It came with new carpet, still in the box, floormats and new fender 280ZX emblems. I swapped the motor over to the donor in a 3 weekend period, with the help of my son and a friend of his. It has been up and down since February. I drive it daily and have a guy who is preparing it for repainting at the Vocational school at night. I hope to have it complete in 3 weeks, but I also had planned to have it ready by ZDAYZ in May. Of course you all know how deadlines never work out with Z's. This is my fourth Z, but the second one I have had to restore.

 

well in that case its only been wut a month?

 

Mine was a driveway ornament for 6 years. Now it's my DD.

 

Mines been about a month now But it's not cause it doesnt work...its cause i'm over 1000 miles away from it
