How the.. exterior window trim install

How the heck to you do it?
It's just supposed to snap in place, right? Every time I think it snaps in place, I bring the window up and the thing pops out again. I have the little snaps all vertical, so they should just snap in place, but no go apparently. What to do, what do to?

Is there a trick to this?

You have to twist the holding tabs 90 degrees to lock in place. A flathead screwdriver works best.

Got 'em in!

Removing the interior door panel and having the window all the way down makes life easier.. The arrows on the locking tabs have to face horizontally (left/right). When I got the trim piece into position, I had to use the flat blade screwdriver to push some of the tabs into their holes and then used the flat blade to make the arrow point straight up. Did that for all the locking tabs and the piece stayed in place!

Good stuff. Even went through with greasing up the window slides and they move up and down nicely.
