hola, im new...

hey im jordan, and im 16 from valdosta GA, im new to this forum but have working on my z for about 2 years now and have learned a little here and there so mabe i can help you. the most challenging things i have done to my z are adjust valves, change radiator, and replace the injectors all done by me and me alone(with a little help from the forums)...

its not the best z at all but its nice for a first car, all i have done is that fore mentioned and full tune up(although mt timing seems to be lacking cause i dont how to use a timing gun just right) replaced most fuel lines, redone most of the interior, and some body work wich leeds to another post i need to ask but ill search the site first, and im geting a new front airdam and i got some 14in Enkie rims and slapped on some falken tires(just ziex 512's)

pic time

theres alot more but id hate to crash the server...

She's still a work-in-progress...

My first Z was also an '81 2+2 (w/ T-tops). Man I loved that car!

neat car not to shabby. as long as she's running great id say get that body kit and then get a new paint job and clean the engine bay and a little shampoo action might liven the interior up a little bit.

Just an FYI... it's a "2 plus 2" not a "2by2" as the car isn't a piece of wood. Hopefully that wasn't "crushing" you.

Funny thing... the model is a "2+2" not a "2x2".

uh... so the reason it's called a "2+2" is because it's a 2seater with 2 extra rear seats. Hence the 2 +2 more. Dunno what else to tell ya. Accept it or don't.

PS... does 9+6 and 9x6 equal the same thing?

Yes welcome to Zdriver...and it is a warm and friendly place. You are the 2nd 16 year old in less than 2 weeks. That has a Z for their first car. Anyway be a picture post ***** if you want. We like seeing pictures..especially while the person is making progress. Good luck with your rolling project. And we are here to help and guide you..when needed.
