Wahoo!!! And the diagnosis was?

 

- Leaking Radiator
- Leaking Fuel Pump
- Adjust TPS
- Adjust Timing
- Adjust Clutch
- BAD WIRE CONNECTION BETWEEN FUEL PUMP RELAY AND EFI RELAY!!!
(THIS IS WHY IT WOULDNT START IN THE FIRST PLACE!)

 

haha...i had a similare problem with the fuel pump on our 280z....damn fuel pump connections.

 

Get it done by the 1st so we can cruise out to Treasure Island!!

well, turned out to be my AFM. I guess I ruined it after the rad blew and got water all over it.
I replaced the AFM and its back up and boosting. oh, and I have a good radiator. ok, back to our Buddy Darrel

Ive heard the beast fellas. And damn it sounds good. He's just got to get an exhuast fabbed up by this weekend so he can take it out to the T.I. meet see we can all see it!!

 

why??/ havent you ever driven open down pipe...it might be "illegal" but its only a 50 dolalr ticket around here...or maby 25...either way just a slap on the wriste...and they can only ticket you once for it in the same day... i would still get an exhaust...im jsut saying if you dont get around to it by this weekend it shouldnt be the kill joy of going with your car or not...

 

Its california man. They dont stand for that shizen. Not a slap on the wrist, but an impound and lots of hassle and harrasment. Plus, that thing is screams at 2k with the open down pipe, let alone freeway speeds

 

$25 fine??? Where do you live. My friend may be losing his license for a similiar offense. And congradualtions on getting your car running, it must feel pretty good. Your car sounds pretty nice.. do you have any pictures of it to post???
