This Car is Cherry Red on Black interior. My friend let me drive it. Was like test driving a brand new car from 1979. Only thing done to car is oil change, stored professionally, and cleaned. Its completely original and perfect. I'm selling it for him and searching for a comparable car in recent years. If anyone can help with info, great. Thanks.

Good luck and not to rain on your parade but it's gonna be worth less than you or your friend think or most generic car appraisers will tell you. If it was an '81-83 turbo car you'd probably get double what the '79 is worth.

Post some pictures up and what you are expecting to get for it as well as your location (makes a big difference in some cases - prices fluctuate depending on location).

Yes, asking price, I know this car is a rare car, no matter the year. Its located in New York State..

 

He was saying it would be a lot more if it was a Turbo car from those years. For a couple reasons they are more desirable.

 

$4k - $8k is the asking price for CLEAN 280zx's with uber low miles. But the ASKING price doesn't mean they sell for that price.

the s130 isn't as desirable to most buyers as the s30 for various reasons. AS stated probably not the windfall your friend is looking for - maybe try Jay Leno. n/a cars not so rare and if you are gonna drive it you really want a turbo.
