Do you know what source he is using for the BMW ball joints?

Do you anticipate any problems getting these shipped to the US from the Netherlands once they're made?

Heh, I had that happen to both my sides within a week of each other! So I'd be interested too depending on the price. However, in what way would these custom made rods be any better than stock? As in, what improvements/benefits would they confer?

And, with the ball joints, they won't sheer off from difficult geometry as a result of suspension compression and wheel turn in...

Yes, they are what you pointed out in the pic. With the adjusting nut, hey will allow you to adjust the caster on your front end without having to mess with shimming the stock mount point. With the ball joint, it will provide enough play to allow the rod to move freely and not bind when the suspension is compressed and you've got the steering wheel jacked in a weird way.

This is an uncommon occurance, but can happen. The biggest benefit is the on the car caster adjustment and it should give you considerably more adjustment than the factory rod would allow.

Mine are adjustable, but don't yet have the ball joint. I was originally planning on a heim joint which would give nearly the same result, but if I can get Frank to tell me what BMW that ball joint came from, I'll go that way instead...
