Do you know what source he is using for the BMW ball joints?
Do you anticipate any problems getting these shipped to the US from the Netherlands once they're made? |

You get to adjust the caster.
|
And, with the ball joints, they won't sheer off from difficult geometry as a result of suspension compression and wheel turn in...
|
what happen to this?
|
im down.. if the price is rite...
|
Im pretty busy right nowgetting ready for a track day the 23rd and my flight to MSA the 25th when im back i will set it up, as i need donor rods ( that i can pic up in the US!):paranoid:

For what year car are these tention rods and are they the thing in the pic? If so let's here some prices and some benifits of these other rods please.
Attachment 4482 |
Yes, they are what you pointed out in the pic. With the adjusting nut, hey will allow you to adjust the caster on your front end without having to mess with shimming the stock mount point. With the ball joint, it will provide enough play to allow the rod to move freely and not bind when the suspension is compressed and you've got the steering wheel jacked in a weird way.
This is an uncommon occurance, but can happen. The biggest benefit is the on the car caster adjustment and it should give you considerably more adjustment than the factory rod would allow. Mine are adjustable, but don't yet have the ball joint. I was originally planning on a heim joint which would give nearly the same result, but if I can get Frank to tell me what BMW that ball joint came from, I'll go that way instead... |
they are of an e30 i will give you teh part number ..
so yeah you got me there ;) |
Hey count me in too!
