Heres one for you Just saved a 71 240 from the scrap pyle Strangely NO RUST. Well ok small surface spots and since it was stacked on top of 3 suvs got a good look floors perfect. they cut the straps off the fuel tank. My question is my 81 2.8 and transmission bolt in to a 71 240? $120.00 a case of Budwiser and 6 Marlboros bought the car so lol just like to know if not ill just part it out.

All L-Series transmissions are interchangeable. Just gotta swap parts for the cross mount, and driveshaft.

 

Ok and will the 240s intake mount to my 2.8? or will I have to try to funkfy the ecu wire harness and fuel tank into the 240.

 

And all L-Series intakes fit each other too (well I6 to I6 anyways) so ya you can but the carbs onto the L28. I did that for awhile but I didnt like them. Nice find on the 240Z tho!
