From what I gathered from the choppy translation is that the pic is carbon fiber but the hood for sale is NOT the one in the pic and the actual hood is made of fiberglass.

 

Hahaha yes I knew it! In Japan there is a much bigger aftermarket for early S30, S130 Zs! I have a bunch of pics of Japanese Zs and they all have parts that Ive never seen sold in the US. THey have way better looking aero parts and alot of CF parts. If only this JDM stuff was on ebay!

i would still be stoked .........putting hood pins in was a bad idea ...
i hate lifting this heavy *** n/a hood on and off just to check the oil....

 

I feel that. When I was doing my engine swap I just left the hood laying on with no latch or hinges. So everytime I went to work on the Z I had to lift the hood off and then put it back on when I was done.

 

My hood's not CF or even fiberglass, but it's certainly the most rare part I've ever owned... Should have some pics of it in a week or so...

 

about damn time. kinda funny that your hood nowadays would be considered ricey by some, but not back then. im juiced to see it.
