Jsk, Not...

In the earlier post with the pictures, JSK5 & JSK6 are of MY engine, and that is definitely NOT a JSK Fuel rail. That is a PALLNET rail, purchased from Pete Allnet from ZCar.com and HybridZ.org. Also, My particular rail was custom made by Pete for me since I'm using 42 pound FORD Fuel injectors with O-Rings, NOT rubber hoses and clamps. However, unlike the JSK fuel rail, Pete's fuel rails come with all of the connectors and brackets needed for installation.

For more information on Pete's rails, contact him at Pallnet@hotmail.com. You won't be disappointed as the quality is absolutely top notch. He custom makes the rails to order.

Well, I'm sure she'll suck (more air) and blow (more fuel in) better.

WOW Skully, there's a couple grand setting on the carpet. Nice accessories.
Those rear rotors look 'deep' kinda strange. Unless that's just the way the 79-81 is.

Not many L28 turbos are putting out that much power. Look at what this guy uses. He put down about 450 whp on a dyno.

That is the most absolutely ridiculus 280zx I have ever seen. 415 rwhp and 475 ftlb torque? That is absolutely amazing. I want it so bad. He kept the stock look to. I can't even imagine the look on ricers faces when they try to race him and end up destroyed. Amazing. Great link.

Careless people and a lack of fuel when using NOS are engine killers. Not the NOS. NOS in itself is incapable of doing any damage, hell, it's not even flammable. The problem is, that it adds extra oxygen to the combustion chamber, and if you don't run your fuel rich enough, you lean out and boom. As long as you run enough fuel, nos is very safe. But it is part time, and you have to refill the bottles, etc... It's a hassle, and pointless on the streets unless you use it for quick spool up on an oversized turbo.

Assimilated, I wasn't knocking your opinion or anything. It's just that NOS has such a bad reputation that is totally undeserved. If you look at the people who have actually HAD a bad experience with NOS, and not just heard about it, it was there own carelessness that led to their demise. You have to tune to NOS just like you have to tune to a turbo mod.

I have seen people run lean and use it, and I have seen people just use it too much.. It is not worth it to me...I would rather do water injection... Safer just as good

Yeah water injection is good, as is CO2. Both work wonders for preventing detonation. But for spool up, nothing beats nos. Of course if you get a properly sized turbo you don't need the help with spool up to begin with.
